How to Halo - Part 1 (reposted)

(i loaded the video via blogger. It's more clear on here)

I finally got my hands on one of those little converter boxes. So today I captured some game footage from a neutral bomb game we had a while back. Started editing it then I got an idea to turn it into an instructional video... Hopefully I'll (we'll) get a whole series of these done.

How to Halo Part One: How to Plant the Bomb in Under 1 Minute

It's also on youtube where you can make it bigger... not clearer.

Bad Idea

Banshee flying rule #7: Never rush the guy with the missile pod.

Rockets For Everyone

The other day we played a few games of Rocket Race. There's nothing quite like being (almost) invincible with unlimited rocket ammo. Here's some stills of the bad-assery that ensued:

Dope & Monkeytoast ride the wave.

Pvision & Metatron escape destruction.

"Oh shit."

"I think I got him..."

Impaled By Flower

This photo is a statement: bullets can kill, but so can pretty white flowers. Beware, youth of America, white flowers don't discriminate.

A new, alternate angle...

Artsy Fartsy

Here are some "artistic" pics from last night's Neutral Bomb game on Valhalla.

I call this first one "Hot Pursuit"

PVision uses the Man Cannon to chases down a Banshee

This one is called "Toro!"

Red means stop bitches

Last but not least, I give you: "Resting in Peace"

Me napping amongst the flowers

Thats all for now. I hope to have some video up here soon.

BOOM

As Patry stated below: a big pile o fusion cores = happiness. 36 fusion cores to be exact.

Just a couple of shots I got from the same incident:

Up close and personal with an exploding BMAC

pretty

This one's from an old game but I figured I'd put it up here. Go Team Go

Fun With The Forge

Reese, Id and I fucked around in the forge last night. Lets me just say that a big pile of fusion cores can be a real good time.

Gunfight In the Sky

As I was flying in the air during a game of team slayer, I realized that someone had followed me and was floating above me. As I fell towards the platform, I turned upwards, threw a grenade, and shot the guy with my Mauler Pistol. I won. He lost. Here's the picture just as I shot the guy (Yes, that's me in red):

And for a little perspective, here's another angle.

Smile For The Camera

There are a lot of amusing things you can do with Halo 3. You can create your own maps, save videos of games on your console and upoload screenshots to the web. Its almost a crime to not share this level of nerdiness with others who might care, or at least share in the amusement.

The first of (maybe) many group shots, this taken by Reese. And yes, we posed.

My attempt at an artistic photo.
